Universities in the USA in 2021 for students with low scores | Gradway

Are you dreaming of a US degree with low scores? It is possible in today’s world where educational institutes have realized that high scores don’t always mandate high intellect. So, the best way for a sure-shot enrollment with an assurance of a recognized degree for a US degree is to find a state university that would accept a low GPA and no strict test cut-offs. Let’s hunt for the US universities with low GPA requirements:

California State University: All their statewide campuses ask for an average GPA of 2.5. Additionally, it has also waived off the language tests for students applying from some select countries.

University of Arkansas: This is another reputed public university with a GPA requirement of just 3.2. The admission process gets more accessible as it doesn’t even need an IELTS or TOEFL score. But it has its English proficiency test to check if a student’s basics are right.

Montana State University: The GPA scores needed to get here are around 2.5. Though the university doesn’t wave off the TOEFL score requirement, the cut-off is as low as 56.

Albany State University: The GPA needed here is just 2.5. Also, the acceptance rate here stands at a whopping 90%.

Connecticut State University: Though the minimum GPA needed is around 3.5, in practice, the university accepts a student with a reasonably low GPA like two only if the other areas of your application are vital.

The University of North Alabama: A GPA of around 2.4 and no TOEFL would help.

Apart from the above public universities, the following are a few private US universities that accept students with low scores and still have an excellent reputation and offer good placement opportunities:

National Louis University: It holds a good reputation when it comes to placements. It also requires a GPA of just 2 with no need for English language tests.

Northwood University: Northwood would accept a GPA score of around 3, and no major English proficiency test is needed to get into it.

University of Regina: This could be the most accessible private university to get into with must-haves of a GPA of just two and no TOEFL or IELTS.

Westcliff University: The admission process in this private university is pretty easy, with no need for any English language test scores and a GPA of just 2.
